Marjatta Metsovaara designed Kupla (bubble) in 1969 and the printed fabric was first shown on heavy cotton satin at Expo 69.
Permanently flame retardant material printed with brilliant colors and sharp contours, the fabric has a slightly more shiny look than our heavy satin cotton qualities.
The fabric is certified in accordance with the STANDARD 100 by OEKOTEX® Class 2 - the highest category for permanently fire retardant fabrics and home textiles. The high-end material absorbs almost no water when washed and dries almost instantly.
